Day 02: Mayapottu Bungalow

After Breakfast, choose from the activities mentioned below which are provided by the resort.

Activities at Mayapott bungalow:

Trek through the private estate

Get culinary classes with the chef or from the host

Visit the Cardamon processing centre and enjoy the plantation experience

Take a leisurely stroll through the plantation track in the morning and evening

Treat yourself to bird watching on the estate

Aguided hike to Chekuthanmala, a nearby hill (about 3 hrs)

Apiary visit. Accompany the estate bee-keeper and collect honey with him

Pluck cardamom along with the estate staff

Day 03: Drive to Paniyeli Poru Waterfalls, Sightseeing, Foot massage /Trek to the Paniyeli Poru waterfalls /Rafting

After Breakfast checkout from Mayapott bungalow. Then a long drive to Paniyeli Poru (It takes around 5 hrs to reach Poru). Since the last stretch to the resort is by a forest road, the resort provides its own transportation (Please make sure you reach the resort before 5 pm)

What you Experience in The Quiet

One could spend hours watching the fast flowing river in all its beauty. But, to spend time by the river, letting the Periyar flow all around and over you is indeed an experience for a lifetime.

After spending some time playing in the waters of the Periyar, you could treat yourself to a foot massage by the well-trained masseur. Have lunch at your leisure and an afternoon nap could be followed by a visit to the farm.

For adventure seekers, a trek to the Paniyeli Poru waterfalls could be arranged.

Those who prefer to spend their time lazing by the pool could opt for the infinity pool. Or, you could also go rafting or boating in the river in the boats/raft provided.

Day 04: Back to Cochin for departure
